Great news, Vecinos!
We’re joining our fellow neighborhood associations and the Westside-South Valley Weed & Seed Strategy for the 2007 National Night!
As you know, National Night Out is a great chance to meet your neighbors, thank law enforcement, and appreciate organizations that collaborate to improve our area of town.
This year, a carnival atmosphere will be created with hot dogs, cotton candy, snow cones, clowns, fun jumpers, a fun slide, and more!
Join us on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 from 5:30-8:30 at Atrisco Plaza (Central and Atrisco)!
Later in the summer, we’ll be having our own special Vecinos del Bosque neighborhood get together - keep you eye on this spot for more information!

You are invited to join Commissioner Teresa Cordova Phd, neighbors, the Atrisco Valley Little League, and staff from the Bernalillo County Parks and Recreation Department to plant “tree pole plantings†at the Valle del Bosque Park at 480 Sunset SW.
When: Saturday, March 10 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
Where: Eastern section of Valle del Bosque Park, 480 Sunset SW
What: Bernalillo County Parks and Recreation Dept. will provide approximately 40 cottonwood and willow tree pole plantings. Holes will be pre-dug so that participants can plant the trees and backfill. Pole plantings take advantage of the water table, so no supplemental irrigation is required.
Why: It’s spring and time to plant trees for continued park development.
Water and tools provided by Bernalillo County. Participants are asked to bring their own gloves.
