1. Welcome
2. Treasurer’s Report
• Treasurer Robert Sanchez reported that the neighborhood association bank account has a balance of $1647.66.

3. Election of Board Members
The following positions were announced as being open:

Expiring now, in 2008:
• Dory Wegrzyn’s position
• Irma Ruiz’s position
• Stephen and Mary Jo Picha’s shared position, which they filled for one year on behalf of Catherine Hyne and James Cleverly
Vacant board positions:
• Cynthia Hughes’ position, 2 year term through 2010
• Robert Sanchez’s position, 2 year term through 2010
• Richard Rivas resigned from the Board, leaving an open position that runs until 2009.
The following people were elected unanimously into the open positions:
Expired positions:
• Into Dory’s position – Dory Wegrzyn; new term expires 2010
• Into Irma Ruiz’s position – Irma Ruiz; new term expires 2010
• Into Stephen and Mary Jo Picha’s position – Stephen and Mary Jo Picha; new term expires 2010
Vacant board positions:
• Into Cynthia’s position – Frank Pezzano; new term expires 2010
• Into Robert’s position – Martin Bolas; new term expires 2010
• Into Richard Rivas’ position – Jenny Beyss; new term expires 2009

4. Vecinos del Bosque Park
The group had a short discussion of the Vecinos del Bosque park. Among the concerns expressed:

• The gates are locked at all times, making the park appear closed and inaccessible. This leads to people parking along Sunset, which is not safe.
  • Nick Nieto offered to open and close the gate on a daily basis.
• Interest in the status of the bridge from the park over the acequia and into the bosque.
• Interest in the status of planting in the park – grass? Crops for migrating birds?
