About the Association

Purpose
The purpose of the Association shall be to promote community welfare, to protect the environment, and to encourage social interaction. Communication shall be fostered between the Association and city and county government on plans, proposals, and activities affecting this area.
Goals
The Vecinos del Bosque Neighborhood Association has two main goals:
- To impress upon the residents of the South Valley, and especially the Atrisco neighborhood, how truly unique and precious their home – the South Valley – really is.
- To preserve and protect the fragile uniqueness of the South Valley now and far into the future.
Our Boundaries
Our neighborhood is bounded:
- On the East by the Rio Grande river, (except for area bounded by the Rio Grande river on the East, Sunset Rd. on the West, Jeanette on the North, and Bridge on the South; which belongs to 5 Points Neighborhood Association)
- On the West by the east side of Atrisco Blvd.
- On the North by the south side of Central Avenue
- On the South by the Bridge & Five Points intersection
